Finding goat’s milk isn’t always easy, but is my preference as it’s easier on my stomach. This makes it one of the first things I hunt for when in a new place. I was relieved to find Lactel goat’s milk (geitenmelk). It has a refreshing taste, can be used hot or cold, plain or with sweetener. It’s great for cooking and baking, and an amazing alternative to cow’s milk.
Note: If you’re in the UK and looking for a great goat’s milk brand, St Helens Farm is my fave.
I’m not a fan of most fruit cheeses, but this one has been a favourite since Barbados days.
If you’re in the market for tuna/veg combo spreads, this one is great. Features tuna, black beans, corn, and sweet peppers.
This one got picked up in a rush, as usually I take forever to choose tomato sauce. Was a good choice though – not too acid, with a mild flavour.
Bertolli Olive Oil
Not too greasy – Pleasant taste – Good for cooking/baking

Frozen meals are a part of the week’s lineup at times. But, just cause food’s frozen, doesn’t mean I don’t want it good. This Tex-Mex own brand pizza from Rewe turns out the way it looks on the box and tastes pretty good too. Included on this pizza are:
- Minced Beef
- Sweet Pepper
- Pizza Sauce
